Endue Bicycle Classic Press Release

Endue Bicycle Classic Supports People with Autism and Down’s Syndrome

ENDUE Bicycle Classic is an annual celebration of life and its wonderful gifts. People can ride and enjoy the beauty of the SF Bay Peninsula while raising awareness of the people who want to ride but can’t; those with developmental disabilities like Down’s syndrome and Autism. Endue is looking for bicycle riders and corporate sponsors for the event which will be held in San Mateo on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

The ENDUE Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities like autism, and supporting organizations who assist those individuals and their families. The Endue Bicycle Classic will start and end at the San Mateo County Event Center. There are five rides to choose from that offer a fun experience regardless of fitness level – a family friendly 30km ride, a scenic 30 km ride, 70km intermediate course, 100km trek and the epic 7,000-foot vertical 100-mile course.

Besides enjoying a fun ride with great food and entertainment, participants will be supporting people with developmental disabilities. To participate as a rider, or as a sponsor visit www.enduefoundation.org or call 650-349-9879

Pat Giosso, Endue Foundation Secretary, “By providing the opportunity for an individual with Autism or another developmental disability to experience something out of the ordinary it helps their entire family.”

ENDUE is a foundation on the San Francisco Peninsula dedicated to investing in and providing support for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The ENDUE Foundation has been established to work towards furnishing a higher quality of life to members of our community who have developmental disabilities such as autism. Through the ENDUE Foundation, the Board of Directors grants funding to individuals and non-profit organizations who support programs for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. The financial support helps in providing affordable housing, independent training, child-care and support groups for families as well as purchasing assistive technology, providing afflicted individuals with memorable experiences and supporting educational facilities that assist these children and adults.
